Discover "The Last Fisher King"

Hello, beloved readers and adventurers alike!

Today, I am beyond excited to share a sneak peek into a very special book—"The Last Fisher King" by Arthur McRight. This enchanting tale is the first word-filled publication by Tabraz Publishing, co-published with my dearest Bookie McByte. Imagine a world where chivalry meets environmental activism, where knights trade their swords for the tools of conservation. This, my friends, is the world of "The Last Fisher King".

A Tale of Myth and Environmentalism

Set in the mystical Eldenwood forest, "The Last Fisher King" takes us on a journey that intertwines ancient legends with contemporary ecological themes. It's a place where the whispers of the trees and the silent cries of polluted rivers tell a story that is both timeless and incredibly relevant today.

The story centers around the plight of the Fisher King, a figure rooted in Arthurian legend. His suffering mirrors the desolation of the land, creating a poignant metaphor for the environmental crises we face today. As the Fisher King's health wanes, so does the vitality of the forest. This tale is not just a narrative but a call to action, urging us to view the world as a sacred garden that we must cherish and protect.

Rich Characters and Enchanting Illustrations

Arthur McRight's storytelling is beautifully complemented by the whimsical illustrations of Evelyne Hartwell. Her artwork brings the Eldenwood forest to life, making you feel as though you can hear the rustle of leaves and feel the mystical energy of the place. These illustrations add a layer of magic to the book, making it not only a literary delight but also a visual feast.

A Legacy of Wisdom and Stewardship

The narrative is enriched by the wisdom of historical figures like Carl Gustav Jung, Sir James George Frazer, and Joseph Campbell, whose works have influenced the depth and complexity of the characters and themes. The book also pays homage to the Arthurian legends, particularly the tale of the Fisher King, weaving these ancient stories into a contemporary framework that speaks to our ecological responsibilities.

A Personal Journey

For those familiar with the legend of the Fisher King, the story is a profound reflection on how our actions impact the natural world. It's a narrative that encourages us to see the world through new eyes, recognizing the intrinsic bond between humanity and nature. As Dr. Aelwyn Myrddin eloquently states in the foreword, this book is a guide through the complexities of modern life, highlighting our innate connection to the natural world and the hope that it's not too late to heal the wounds we've inflicted on our planet.

An Unforgettable Experience

"The Last Fisher King" is a must-read for anyone who loves a blend of myth, history, and environmental advocacy. It's a story that will stay with you, urging you to become a guardian of the earth and to walk the path of balance and harmony.

As we prepare for its official release, I invite you all to join us in this journey back to an era of chivalry and tree hugging, where the pen becomes mightier than the sword in the fight for Mother Nature.

With leafy regards,

Belle van Buyten

Sir Laughalot

I, Sir Laughalot of Lancelot, have recently embarked on a most extraordinary quest, not for the Holy Grail, but for the holy grail of literature – and lo and behold, I found it in Arthur McRight’s “The Last Fisher King.” This tome is nothing short of a legendary delight, blending chivalrous valor with a dash of tree-hugging whimsy that even Merlin would envy!

As I turned the pages, I could almost hear the whispers of Eldenwood and the soft clanging of armor – and not just because I read it in full plate mail. Truly, McRight has penned a tale that makes one wish for a steed and a forest to defend.

The Fisher King’s plight is a poignant reflection of our dear planet’s woes. If Sir Gawain were around today, he’d trade his Green Knight for a Greenpeace membership faster than you can say “Excalibur.” And the illustrations by Evelyne Hartwell? Enchanting! Her art is so vivid, I almost believed my own sword had come to life. (Note to self: Do not leave sword near sketchbook.)

“The Last Fisher King” is a must-read for every knight, squire, and environmentally-conscious dragon out there. It’s a quest for the soul and the soil, a saga that tickles your funny bone while tugging at your heartstrings. And remember, noble readers, as we face our own modern-day blights, let us be inspired by the Fisher King to wield our pens and eco-friendly swords with valor!

Yours in laughter and lore,
Sir Laughalot of Lancelot
